Melissa Cervantes (born July 22, 1986), known by her ring name Thunder Rosa, is a Mexican and American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist. She debuted in 2014 and has also appeared in World Wonder Ring Stardom ("Stardom"), Impact Wrestling ("Impact"), and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) where she is a former NWA Womans World Champion.
GTS Career[]
Thunder Rosa debuted with Holidead, defeating JJ Adams, & El Jefe Rojo with Rosa becoming number one contender for the GTS United States Championship, and got the title match at Food in the Fridge (PPV). At Food in the Fridge, she defeated El Jefe Rojo to become the first woman to win the United States Championship. After winning the title however, she lost the belt to Sodapop Smith who cashed in The Junk in the Trunk Briefcase to win the US Title. She returned when Matt Mastle said he had signed Her and Holidead to RWA but he tricked he said the contracts were GTS contracts. Later that day she faced Jay Evans and the next day she teamed with Duhop.
At GTS Clown Duel 2018, she faced Duhop in the first round of the YouTube title No. 1 Contender’s tournament in which Duhop defeated Thunder Rosa.
